Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is a high-speed rock and roll themed coaster. Here are some things you should know about the ride.

Story: When you visit G-Force Records for a sneak peek at Aerosmith's new album, the band finds out that they are late for their concert. So they give you backstage passes and a ride in a super stretch limo. The ride then begins with a 0 to 59-mile-per-hour launch through the Los Angeles freeways, avoiding street signs and buildings.

Queue: Guests enter through a backstage area, then pass behind the giant electric guitar into the G-Force Records hallways where you can see posters for music albums and instruments used by the Aerosmith members.

History: The ride was originally not going to use Aerosmith. Instead, Disney was looking to use the Rolling Stones, but they ended up being too pricey for the company. After that, Disney approached U2, but Bono didn't want a partnership with Disney. Then Disney found Aerosmith, who were happy to work with Disney at a more manageable price.

Track Length: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster's track length is 3,268 feet.

Fun Facts: Another version of the ride was built in Walt Disney Studios in Paris, but it closed in 2018 for an Avengers roller coaster.
